“ The decor is gorgeous, the atmosphere is amazing. The lady there is so kind. We got 3 different type of tamales and still can't pick a favorite, and I'm still amazed at the flavor pallet of the salsa. I couldn't recommend more. They have stuff in the fridge as well to take home. Couldn't recommend this place more. ”
“ We love Maria's food, both to eat in her colorfully painted chairs and for take-out. All of the tamales are terrific and a good size. My favorite is jalapeno (not hot) and black bean. The guacamole is excellent. Best black beans I've ever had. The ceviche is a large portion, with slices of avocado--delicious! Also, Maria's mother makes the fabulous pinatas available for purchase. If you are in a rush, get the tamales frozen to go. When you are ready to eat them, remove the foil from the frozen tamale, microwave about 3-4 minutes with a tablespoon of water on the plate, lightly covered. Perfect! ”
“ If you’re craving the best tamales around, look no further! The tamales are packed with flavor and clearly made with love. The guacamole? Fresh and perfectly seasoned—it’s a must-order! The ambiance is just as memorable as the food—laid-back and cozy, surrounded by vibrant, colorful art and beautifully handmade furniture. Every detail feels thoughtful and welcoming. To top it all off, Maria, the owner, is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. You can truly feel the heart and soul that goes into this place. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic food, great service, and warm artistic vibes! ”
“ I ordered takeout tamales there. All of them were great! We tried four different kinds. Beef, chicken, bean with peppers, and cheese with peppers. The lady working there is very sweet too! ”
“ What’s not to love about this gem in Lexington! Maria is the most gracious host and her food amazing! As a pescatarian it’s often hard to find delicious choices, but I did here! The tamale masa is so light and fluffy. I had the Poblano & Cheese and Jalapeno & Bean tamales along with the Shrimp Cocktail. Be adventurous, take a chance and you won’t be disappointed! ”
“ Maria is so sweet ! ( : She is now my favorite place for steak street tacos ! The chips & cheese are also ! & she has the tall boy coke ! No more taco trucks for me ! * The menu pricing I posted isn't current. * it's an older Pic I found online. Sorry but it was too cute ! ”
“ So good My partner and I were dying to try Farm Market but we hadn't found the time to drive over during their limited lunch hours. Finally we were in the area and it was lunchtime. We passed it. It dawned on us. And then I U-turned faster than... uh... faster than I ate these tamales. (Fast.) We had the bean tamales and cheese tamales and needless to say, we weren't disappointed. The care that the chef takes with her food is so evident. And it was great to have two vegetarian options! If you're looking for a diner vibe, this won't be for you. But if you're looking for great food, yes, it IS for you! Please excuse my low-quality photo, I'm hoping to update it soon. ”
“ Totally full after 2 delicious tamales. Great amount of filling (we tried pork, bean, and chicken x 2 ) with a hefty serving of cheese on top. The masa dough was textured and subtly sweet. Highly recommend! ”
